Ce défi permettra de vérifier la capacité des petits robots terrestres pour des missions de
reconnaissance en milieu fermé non totalement structuré.
Des innovations sont attendues dans le domaine de l’intelligence artificielle embarquée (perception,
reconnaissance, fusion de donnée, cartographie sémantique, localisation en intérieur, architecture de
contrôle et autonomie) avec des possibilités d’avancées dans d’autres domaines (mobilité,
planification de mission et supervision, interfaces homme - machine…).

First place again for CAROTTE second edition. Competition was tough, all teams involved were stronger than last year. But we did it again ! Thanks to all members with special congrats to Marvin, our adabooster !!

The CAROTTE contest (CArtographie par RObot d'un Territoire)
In order to help improving the capacities of robots for localization, mapping and terrain analysis, the ANR and DGA have intiated the CAROTTE challenge.
5 teams have been selected for that challenge, and CoreBots is one of them.
Each team will have to make an autonomous robot which will be able to navigate in an indoor environment and recognize objects in the rooms in order to build a map of the environment with semantic information about this unkown environment.
The challenge will be held in 3 phases with a new contest each year and an increasing difficulty in terms of environment structure and hazards.
